Elegantly Edgy, Newport Beach CA
Located in Corona del Mar’s friendly neighborhood is a freshly remodeled home that needed both a focal point and a bar area that would be prime for making great memories with friends and family. The bare TV wall in the living room called for a fireplace, but not just any kind of fireplace. We wanted to design something that comfortably blended in with the modern feel present throughout the home. This new feature makes its presence known without becoming too imposing. The floating textured granite ledge lifts the marble agglomerate on the upper body as the flames dance behind the three-sided glass fireplace unit. Just a glance away, this subtle elegance is matched only by the minimalistic lines of the custom-built bar. This bold, floating peninsula cantilevers out of the wall. Cheers!
